Role Overview
The Board of Directors Assistant provides administrative and governance support to the Board and Senior Leadership. The role ensures meetings are organized, compliant, and members receive the information needed to make effective decisions.

- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- Knowledge of governance processes and compliance.
- Ability to work with senior leaders and board members.
- Accurate meeting minutes and record decisions.
- Maintain official board records and archives.
- Ensure documents meet legal and compliance standards.
- Assist with board records and archives.
- Help ensure board follows bylaws, policies, and regulations.
- Maintain records such as Director Lists, Governance Documents, Annual Reports, and filings.
- Support the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Qualifications
Education
- Grade 12 High School Diploma.
Other Requirements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and community practices.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
- Child Abuse, Adult Abuse, and Criminal Record Checks may be required.
Salary
$430 Honorarium Monthly
